A pair of design systems for Compass, built to make high-touch real estate marketing feel clearer, more elevated, and easier to scale.

Challenge
Compass had two very different design needs under one larger brand world. For its agent marketing strategy, the goal was to translate a complex company-wide framework into a system that agents across the country could actually understand and use. For Curated, Compass Luxury’s 10th anniversary issue, the challenge was to refresh a highly visual print experience without losing the aspirational tone and polish the magazine was known for.

Approach
For the agent marketing system, we used the familiar structure of a listing card as the foundation, turning a complex three-phase strategy into a modular visual language that could flex across websites, postcards, trifolds, signage, email signatures, and social assets. For Curated, we introduced updated grid systems, pacing, and custom editorial layouts across the cover and more than 100 interior pages, giving photography, homes, neighborhoods, and agent stories more room to feel considered and elevated.

Results
Together, the work helped Compass bring more consistency and clarity to both its agent-facing and luxury marketing. The strategy system was rolled out nationally and adopted by thousands of agents across the U.S., giving teams a more accessible way to communicate the brand’s marketing approach. Curated extended that same sense of polish into print, helping the 10th anniversary issue feel fresh, collectible, and true to Compass Luxury’s editorial standard.
