Brand Strategy
Inspired by a decade of giving, Bombas’ 100 million donation milestone became a campaign about the people, stories, and systems behind homelessness in America.

Challenge
Bombas had reached a major milestone through its “One Purchased = One Donated” model, but the campaign needed to do more than celebrate a number. The challenge was to honor the scale of the brand’s giving while keeping the focus on the people and communities behind the issue. It needed to feel bold enough for public placements, but thoughtful enough to avoid feeling self-congratulatory or overly polished.

Approach
We built a campaign system that paired direct messaging with real stories and clear, restrained visuals. The design leaned on strong typography, simple layouts, and a focused color palette to make the facts easy to absorb across OOH, digital, and an interactive story hub. Instead of relying on heavy campaign language, the work created space for empathy, using design to slow people down and reframe homelessness through both scale and individual experience.
Results
The campaign reinforced Bombas as a brand willing to use its platform for more than product or promotion. By choosing empathy, education, and restraint over a traditional milestone celebration, the work deepened the brand’s position as a mission-led company with a clear point of view. The campaign also earned strong industry and press recognition, including coverage in Ads of the World, Street Fight, Retail Customer Experience, OAAA, and the Shorty Awards, extending the reach of the work beyond the physical placements and helping the milestone live as a broader brand story.
